Sincerest sympathy to Kevin's family and friends. He is remembered with much affection by the PACT community. Kevin was an outstanding student, teacher and member of our program and we were all enriched in so many ways by knowing and working with him. A wonderful young man! May God bless you all in your sadness as He welcomes Kevin home! Br Pat Carey for PACT
Kevin,
We will miss your spirit, character, and most of all your decency. The world has lost someone we can all look up to, but your memory will last forever.
May eternal rest be granted to you.
Mike and Beth
So sorry. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Chatted with Kevin more than once at the Rockne Dinners and always enjoyable and a great young man.
Our sincerest condolences on the loss of your beloved son to the entire Hansen family and all who knew and loved Kevin. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Kevin was always such a nice guy; such a brilliant mind as well as a kind heart. I went to school with Kevin for about 10 years. His successes and determination will live on.
Mike and Beth...
There are no words to say...I can only imagine the pain you are all feeling. Please know that we are praying for you, praying that God send his healing love upon you. It is true God only takes the best. Hope you find comfort in the love and care of your family and friends at this time. Love & Peace, Karen and Bob Boyle
My heartfelt and sincerest sympathy for both you Mike and your wife Beth. I was shocked by the announcement on the radio today 04*14 - Tuesday announcing the tragic death of Kevin and his quick demise with Leukemia. Reading the obit.'s on Kevin's life also impressed me greatly. What a fine young man he was/is - and what proud parents you both must be ... making this quick passing all the more tragic and painful ... and so my heart aches for you but know that it prays earnestly to our living Lord Jesus Christ for the salvation of Kevin which in your hearts I trust you know he is already there celebrating and never experiencing any more pain, nothing but pure joy forever more. God bless you and your family and may Kevin rest in peace. Jim E. Dietz Fishers of men - St. Rays.
My sincere condolence to the Hansen Family. I did not know Kevin for long time, however, upon introducing myself to him, we had many things in common. My Uncle was a priest at Mr. Carmel many decades ago. My brother attended Mr. Carmel. I was a avid follower of their football team and had known students from Homewood that played Mr. Carmel football. Kevin always had a smile on his face and a good word to say. He appeared to be very happy with his teaching responsibilities. I am very saddened by his sudden passing. He will always be remember by me and many other staff members at the Homewood Library. Rest in peace my friend.
We are so sorry to hear of Kevin's passing. He was an amazing person. Every season I was away playing baseball he would send a note wishing me luck and good health for the upcoming season. I can't tell you how much that meant to me. The entire Hansen family is in our thoughts and prayers.
My sincerest condolences to Kevin's family and friends. I knew Kevin from biology classes at Notre Dame and he was the epitome of a gentleman and a scholar. I will be praying for the Lord's mercy to all those that Kevin's life touched.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord.
And let perpetual light shine upon him.
May he rest in peace.
May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
