I remember Coach Bell having the ability to hit himself a pop fly. He would go out in the outfield with his fungo and catcher mitt. He would then hit himself a towering, sky high pop-up,throw down the fungo, pick up his cathers mitt and then run underneath the pop fly and catch it everytime!
I enjoyed 4 years of baseball witth him. A super guy! My thoughts and prayers are with Mrs. Bell and the family. He made a differnce in my life.
