Obituary of Arthur Bergeson

Arthur James Bergeson Age 51, of Elwood, IL, died suddenly, Saturday, April 18, 2015. He was born December 31, 1963 in Joliet, IL, to Joyce and the late Arthur Bergeson. He was a graduate of Joliet East High School, Class of 1982. Beloved father of Art (April) Bergeson, Jr., Colin Bergeson and Sabrina Bergeson; proud grandpa of Bailey; loving son of Joyce; dear brother of Merry Lynn (Lawrence) Hanson, Kathleen Joy (William) Farrell, Kimberly (John) Ortelli, Scott Bergeson and Toni M. French. Also survived by special friend, Liz Higgins; stepson, Ryan Bromberek; former wife, Colleen; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Art will also be missed by his dog, "Kota". Preceded in death by his father and grandparents. Art, a truck driver for several trucking firms, thoroughly enjoyed driving for Rain for Rent. He was employed for several years at Supreme Radiator in the upholstery shop and also was the owner/operator of Reflections Mirror and Glass. Some of Art's hobbies included off-roading, camping, kayaking, shooting and mechanics. He also appreciated big dogs. As it was Art's wish, cremation rites have been accorded. All friends and relatives are invited to gather Sunday, April 26, 2015 at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.)
