Obituary of Nancy Farrell

**PHOTO** Nancy J. Farrell (nee McKillip) Age 72, of Joliet, passed away Monday, April 27, 2015 at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center. Nancy will be remembered as a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and sister. Although she worked the hardest raising a family of eight children, she also worked in the cafeteria at Edna Keith Grade School, and as a nursing assistant at Silver Cross Hospital and as a clerk in their Childerguild Gift Shop. Surviving are her children, Timothy Farrell, Theresa Rice, John (Christina) Farrell, Joseph Farrell, Julie Farrell, James (DeAnna) Farrell and Thomas Farrell; six grandchildren, Ashley, Vander, Zachary, Nicholas, Alexa and Stephen; two sisters, Margaret (late Edward) Wilkinson and Mary Christianson; one brother, Don McKillip; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded by one son, Jeffrey (1998); her parents, Laurence and Veronica (Mousel) KcKillip; two brothers, Jack McKillip and Jim McKillip; and one sister, Marilyn Gilliland. Funeral Services for Nancy J. Farrell will be held Friday, May 1, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Interment in Elmhurst Cemetery will be private. Visitation Thursday, 3-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
