Ms. Meyers was my dean at Plainfield high. I wasn't the best student ever and spent many hours in her office.. needless to say she never gave up on me and has changed my life as a teen in so many ways. I've always thought about her and she just popped into my head so I tried to find her only to come to this. My heart just broke. I'll never forget you and will forever be blessed to have met you. I hope I made you proud.
Please accept my sincere condolences. I've been trying to find my former neighbors for years and unfortunately I learned of Gina's death. Have many fond memories of growing up next door to the wonderful Meyers family.
Many of my first memories are of sharing holidays with my cousin Gena and her whole family. Though we are many years apart, I loved the hi-jinks, laughter, and joy I witnessed in her company. I am thinking of all her loved ones at this sad time and knowing we were honored to have shared even some small time with her. Love, Ellen
I haven't the pleasure to know you as well, but I do remember laughing my butt off when you were around. I'm sure the laughter we here from the heavens will be you entertaining God.
Gena blessed all those she met with her wit and charm. She loved to make those around her laugh. She was the best hostess and opened her home and heart to all. I will certainly miss her Gena-isms. Fly with the angles our dear friend. Till we meet again.
