"Leo"
Age 85, of Joliet, passed away Saturday, May 1, 2015 at home, with his loving family at his side.
Surviving are his children, Rita (late Bernard, Sr.) Dumyahn, Roberto (Rosemarie) Galvan, Jose (late Lynda) Galvan, Elena (late Federico) Zuniga, Manuel (Beth) Galvan, Antonio (Diana) Galvan, Yolanda (Leroy) Rangel, Patricia (Gene) Clark, Ricardo (Debbie) Galvan, and Janie (Mike) Mendoza; 25 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Juanita (Torres) Galvan (1986); his parents, Ascencion and Apolonia Galvan; a daughter, Cristina, in infancy; two brothers; and two sisters.
Leo was a hard worker and retired from Local #75 of the Laborers Union following many years of service. He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bulls fan. He loved attending all of his grandchildren's activities. Leo also enjoyed going to Monday night Bingo, playing cards, listening to music and dancing. He will be remembered for his woodworking, and his family will have many treasured keepsakes which he enjoyed making for them.

Funeral services for Rosalio Galvan will be Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet, to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
