Obituary of Barbara Rector

Barbara A. Rector Age 77, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Rosewood Care Center. Born July 23, 1937 in Palos Hills, IL she was the daughter of Daniel and Bertie (Wilmore) Taylor. She and her husband lived in Plainfield for many years and were members of Living Water Community Church. Barbara will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Surviving are her beloved husband of 60 years, Robert W. Rector; two daughters, Patricia (Timothy) Clevenger of Joliet, and Kathleen (Donald) Clark of Westminster, CO; four grandchildren, Michelle (Ryan) Donfrio, Michael Boik, Andrew Clark and Adam Clark; and one sister, E. Juanita (Gary) Tews of Pontiac. Preceded by her parents; one brother, Arnold Taylor; and one sister, Louise Ingles. Funeral services for Barbara A. Rector will be Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 12:00 p.m., Noon, at Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Rev. Steve Cook will officiate. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery, Oak Lawn. Visitation will be Tuesday, from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
