The McQuillan family cannot say enough about the way their parents were cared for by the staff of the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Continual updates, outstanding care and a genuine sense of warmth will always be remembered. Furthermore, the dignity afforded our parents in their final moments and hours truly helped us realize how fortunate the Joliet community is to have such a wonderful facility. We, as a family are grateful knowing mom and dad received the best care possible, and although the last few weeks have been difficult, our family feels at peace, knowing and trusting in our faith, as we were raised, that perhaps a storybook, six decade love affair couldn't have had a more fitting final chapter. May they rest in peace. Funeral Services for Dr. Patrick McQuillan will be held Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.)
