Obituary of Isidro Isassi

Isidro L. Isassi Age 52, of Crest Hill, passed away suddenly on Monday, June 8, 2015. Born July 9, 1962 in Pharr, TX, he was the son of Ysidro and Maria (Ledesma) Isassi. Isidro worked as a truck driver for EFM Transport and enjoyed a reputation for never missing work. When he was younger, he worked at Arlington Park and other race tracks as a groom and stablehand. He was a devoted family man and a good provider. He loved to cook and will be remembered for his outstanding culinary skills. Family events will not be the same without Isidro in charge of the kitchen. Isidro also coached his son's baseball teams and remains "Coach" to many. Surviving are his wife, Lilia; one daughter, Jessica (Michael Webber) Isassi; one son, Daniel Isassi; his beloved granddaughter, Madison Webber; his father, Ysidro; one sister, Sylvia; one brother, Israel; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his daughter, Kassie Isassi; his mother, Maria; and one sister, Maria. A memorial visitation for Isidro Isassi will be held Friday, June19, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet. A service will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Cremation rites have been accorded and interment will be private. Memorials to the family would be appreciated.
