Obituary of Nancy Ethridge

Ethridge, Nancy J. (nee Messer) Age 75, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2015, with her family at her bedside. She leaves behind her husband of 56 years Richard, her cherished children Jeree Ethridge (Andrew Dlugokecki) and Douglas (Cathy) Ethridge, adoring grandchildren Timothy Clay (Deanne Manning), Marie Stukel (Jeremy), Rachel Ethridge and Benjamin Ethridge, and a special great grandchild Reese Stukel. Nancy was very active as a homemaker and worked in retail sales. Nancy loved her family and will be greatly missed. Friends and family will gather on Friday, June 19, 2015, 10 a.m. at Plainfield United Methodist Church, 15114 South Illinois Street, Plainfield, IL 60544 for a memorial service. Inurnment Plainfield Township Cemetery. Memorial visitation will be held on Thursday from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home. 3200 Black at Essington Rds, Joliet. As it was her wish, cremation rites have been accorded. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Plainfield United Methodist Church, Joliet Area Hospices or a charity of your choice.
