Obituary of David Wissel

DAVID C. WISSEL Age 77, Friday, June 19, 2015 at Regency Care and Rehabilitation Center in Morris following a courageous battle with cancer with his family by his side. Born in Evergreen Park and a Wilmington resident for the past 12 years. A graduate of DeVry University of Chicago. A U.S. Air Force Veteran. Retired from NBC Chicago after many years of service. David enjoyed fishing and traveling the country with his wife in his motor home more than anything in the world. Preceded by his parents, Roy and Mildred (nee Lincoln) Wissel. Survived by his loving and devoted wife of 51 years, Donna (nee Larson) Wissel of Wilmington; one son, Scott (Renee) Wissel of Shorewood, IL; one daughter, Debby (Don) Kapinus of Morris; three grandchildren, Paige and Kylie Wissel and Madison Kapinus. Visitation for David C. Wissel will be Monday June 22, 2015 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at the Fred C Dames Funeral Home, 1201 W. Route 6 at Deerpath Drive, Morris, IL .
