Ann Marie Mulvey
"Dolly"

Age 78. At rest Thursday, June 25, 2015 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center. She was born January 7, 1937, and was a lifelong resident of Crest Hill, IL. A 1955 graduate of Lockport Township High School. Ann Marie began her employment at Merichka's Restaurant and retired from Chaney-Monge School after 12 years of service. She was an active member of St. Anne Catholic Church CCW and Choir, 2011 CCW Woman of the Year, Ladies Auxiliary of Cantigny Post VFW #367, St. Genevieve Lodge #108, Slovenian Union of America, Joliet Rivals Ladies Auxiliary, Crest Hill Homemakers and Chaney Monge PTO. Ann loved to sing in the St. Anne church choir. She loved Sunday picnics at St. Joe's Park and was an active member of the community. She enjoyed being an Avon lady for many years. Dolly was the heart and soul of the family and will be missed by all who knew her.
Loving mother of Beverly A. (Ralph) McCutcheon of Dallas, NC, Barbara A. Fenoglio of Joliet, IL, Robert M. Mulvey of Kansas City, MO and Maureen A. (Scott) Hasenjaeger of Joliet, IL; cherished grandmother of nine grandchildren, April (Ronnie) Baynard, Holly McCutcheon, Brad McCutcheon, Terry (Shelly) Fenoglio, Robert Fenoglio, Amber (Patrick) Cox, William Fenoglio, Michael Mulvey and Brenna Mulvey; proud great-grandmother of Damien Buchanan, Logan and Liam Fenoglio, and Calean and Ryleigh Cox, and Madailein Baynard; one sister, Pauline (Tom) Mihelich of Joliet; four brothers, Michael (Marilyn) Sternisha of CA, George (Mary Ann) Sternisha of Crest Hill, Joseph Sternisha of Wilmington, IL and Walter (Sherril) Sternisha of Manhattan, IL; one sister-in-law, Judith Wetherbee; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Robert W. Mulvey (March 6, 2014); her parents, Frank J. Sternisha and Anna A. Galajdik; three brothers, Joseph (Pearl) Fojut, Frank E. (Judy) Sternisha and John (Linda) Sternisha; and two sisters, Theresa (Norm) Wittkofski and Alice (Joseph) Valek.
Funeral Services for Ann Marie Mulvey will be Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 9:15 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet, IL, to St. Anne Catholic Church, Crest Hill, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
