Obituary of Randal Hulva

Randal E. Hulva Age 57. At rest Saturday, June 27, 2015 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born October 17, 1957 in Peoria, IL to Ronald E. and Betty L. (nee Gill) Hulva. Randal worked for Caterpillar Inc. retiring in December 2014 following 37 years of dedicated service. Randal enjoyed music, building guitars, fishing, raising and showing Boxers, and building his remote control airplanes. Survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Annette (nee Friend) Hulva; his children, Kristin (Brant) Strausbaugh, Greg (Cyntia) Hulva; his parents, Ronald and Betty; siblings, Kim (James) Reynolds and Kamie (Gary) Ellis; uncle of four nieces and three nephews. Preceded by his brother, Ronald E. Hulva Jr. (July 5, 2001) and his grandparents. Funeral services for Randal E. Hulva will be Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 7:30p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black (at Essington) Rds., Joliet. Rev. John Ciesniewski officiating. Graveside services will be Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Roberts Cemetery in Morton, IL.
