Obituary of Colin De Mello

Colin Sultan De Mello Age 28. Passed away unexpectedly Sunday, June 28, 2015 as a result of an undiagnosed seizure condition. Born in Downers Grove and a Minooka resident for the past nine years. Employed at Wintrust Mortgage as a loan officer's assistant for the past five years. Survived by his beloved daughter, Malia Daisy Lin De Mello of Minooka; his parents, Mario and Kathy De Mello of Joliet; his grandmother, Pearl Montgomery of Chicago; two brothers, Mario (Neuris) De Mello of Chicago, and Angelo (Cecile) De Mello of Chicago; one sister, Simone (Mike) Zelt of Minooka; one niece, Nayeli; and three nephews, Nikko, Angelo, II and Mikey. Preceded by his brother, Brandon De Mello; grandparents, Joe and Daisy De Mello; and one aunt, Rhonda Serrano. Funeral services for Colin Sultan De Mello will be Friday, July 3, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Interment Lincoln Cemetery in Alsip, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name to the family for an account for his daughter's education that will be established at a later date. Visitation Thursday, 2-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
