Obituary of Edward Stiles

Edward S. Stiles Age 76, of Morris, IL and formerly Aurora, IL, passed away peacefully, Thursday morning, July 2, 2015 at his sister's home in Millington, IL. He was born April 17, 1939 in Aurora where he was raised and educated. Ed served in the U. S. Marine Corp from the end of the Korean War until being honorably discharged in 1960. He is survived by his son and daughters, Kim Stiles, Melissa (Emil Williams) Smith, Clark (Kyla) Stiles and Samantha Stiles; five grandchildren, Clark Jr. and Wyatt Stiles; Tatyana and Jay Smith, Jr. and James Vernon; one brother, Jack Stiles, Jr.; sisters, Beverly (late Charlie) Smith and Shirley Margraves. many nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Donna, Betty and Sandy. Ed was a truck and bus driver for many years and was also employed in the housekeeping department at Morris Hospital. He was an accomplished masseuse who enjoyed visiting with fellow customers at the donut shop. As it was Ed's request, cremation rites have been accorded. Private family services will be held in Aurora, IL at a later date.
