Age 70. Suddenly Friday, July 10, 2015 at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center following complications of a cerebral vascular accident. Born in Joliet, raised in Lockport, and a Joliet resident the past 44 years. A U.S. Air Force veteran. Retired from Hannah Marine Corporation in Lemont after over 38 years of service as a traffic manager. Formerly employed at Jim and Tom's Texaco in Lockport. A member of Harwood Post American Legion #5. Wilbur loved the Chicago Blackhawks, bowling and horse racing.
Preceded by his parents, Wilbur R. and Maxine (nee Lane) Clark, Sr.; and one brother, Edgar Clark.
Survived by his loving wife and best friend of 45 years, Sharon Clark of Joliet; one daughter, Jennifer "J-Bird" Adamson of Joliet; one son, Kenneth Clark of Joliet; one grandson, Jacob Adamson of Joliet; one sister, Kathleen (Ted) Cook of Wilmington, NC; one brother, Charles (Betty) Clark of Daphne, AL; two sisters-in-law, Carolyn Clark of Gassville, AR and Kathleen (Jack) Revels of Cantonment, FL; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Graveside Funeral Services for Wilbur R. Clark, Jr. will be held Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery Fr. Michael Lane officiating followed by full military honors to be conducted under the auspices of the United States Air Force. No visitation. Arrangements under the direction of Fred C.
