Obituary of Michael McCarthy

Michael B. McCarthy Age 58. At rest Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, FL. Born in Joliet to the late Leo and Katherine (O'Brien) McCarthy. Relocating to Florida in the late 1980's. Graduate of Lockport High School. Formerly employed by ComEd. An avid hunter and fisherman. Preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Ann (nee Miller) McCarthy; his parents; and his sister, Patricia Ann Stewart. Survived by two nephews, Kyle Stewart and Cory Stewart; one niece, Nicole Stewart, all of Joliet; and great-uncle of three. A Memorial Service for Michael B. McCarthy will held Friday, July 17, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Visitation 3:00 p.m. until the time of service.
