Obituary of Jeffrey Becker

Jeffrey Wayne Becker Age 62. At rest Sunday, July 12, 2015. Born in Chicago and most recently a resident of Schiller Park, IL. Graduate of Morris Waite High School Class of 1971. Jeffrey enjoyed writing poetry and was an avid fisherman. Survived by his mother, Janice Becker; siblings, Cathy (Buck) Hansen, Charles Becker, Steven (Nancy) Becker, Jorgiann (Dave) Schuck, Rodney (Rosa) Becker, William Becker, Martin (Lori) Becker, Jennifer Becker and Paula Becker; his girlfriend of ten years, Karen Mikolas. Uncle of several nieces and nephews. Preceded by his parents, Herbert and Joan Becker. "Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free. I'm following the path God laid for me. I took his hand when I heard his call, I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day. To laugh, to love, to work and play. Tasks left undone must stay that way, I found that peace at the close of day. If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Ah, yes, these things I too shall miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full, I've savored much, good friends, good times, a loved ones touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, don't lengthen it with undue grief. Lift up you hearts and share with me, God wanted me now, He has set me free."
