Obituary of Lawrence Testin

Lawrence Joel Testin "Larry" Age 26, of Newark, IL, died suddenly Saturday, July 18, 2015. Born May 30, 1989 to Susanne L. (nee Carlson) and Joel E. Testin. He was a 2007 graduate of Newark High School where he was president of the FFA his senior year and received an Associates degree in Agriculture Management from Joliet Junior College in 2009. Surviving are his loving family; his mother, Susanne; brother, Kyle and sister, Rachel, all of Newark, IL; his maternal grandparents, Richard and Kay Carlson of Wenona, IL. Several aunts, uncles, cousins and good friends. Preceded in death by his father, Joel E. Testin (2013); grandmother, Anna Mae Testin (2011) and grandfather, Paul Testin (1996). Larry was an outdoorsman who enjoyed trapping, riding his quad, snowmobiling and woodworking. He would want everyone attending his services to dress in country-casual attire. Funeral services for Larry Testin will be held Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 1201 W. Route 6 at Deerpath Drive in Morris, IL. with visitation from 3:00 pm. until services begin at 7:00 p.m. Fr. Ed Howe, C.R. officiating. Interment will be private at St. Mary Immaculate Cemetery, Plainfield, IL. In lieu of flowers memorials in Larry's name to the FFA at Newark High School would be appreciated.
