Obituary of Mary McGinty

Mary C. McGinty Age 75. At rest Sunday, July 19, 2015 at Lexington Health Care Center of Orland Park. Born in Chicago, IL to the late Vincent and Ellen (Madigan) McGinty. Moved to Chicago following high school and living in the Joliet area the past 15 years. Retired from the University of Illinois External as a secretary. Survived by her sister, Margaret (George) Koehne of Tinley Park; sister-in-law, Shirley McGinty of Ashland, WI; aunt of Duane Gembara of Orland Park, Diane (Fred) Varvell of Kankakee, Patrick (Dana) McGinty of Mason, WI, Lucy (Mike) Forren of Hayward, WI and Katie McGinty of Ashland, WI; special cousin, Frances (the late Chester) Zielinski. Preceded by her parents; one brother, Daniel McGinty; two sisters, Joan and Katherine McGinty in infancy; special cousins, Eugene and Donald McGinty. Funeral services for Mary C. McGinty will be Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet to St. Ambrose Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 p.m. Interment will take place at St. Agnes Cemetery, Ashland, WI at a later date.
