Obituary of Vicki Misischia

Vicki J. Misischia (nee Pombert) Age 72, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015 at home surrounded by her loving family after a 15 year battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Born in Kankakee on August 31, 1942 to the late Ernest E.Pombert and Margaret N. (nee Shelby) Bruce. Survived by her loving husband of 49 years, David W.; three sons, David M. (Cynthia), Daniel M. (Renee) and Dale M. Misischia; two grandchildren, Jacob and Mitchell Misischia; three sisters, Vana (Richard) Harrison, Katherine (Thomas) Jacobazzi and Ann (Michael) Dietchweiler; aunt of many nieces and nephews. Vicki was a member of St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, Plainfield, for 30 years and was school secretary and the Religious Education Coordinator. In 1983, she was awarded the CCW Woman of the Year award at St. Mary Immaculate. Funeral Services for Vicki J. Misischia will be Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 9:15 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home 3200 Black at Essington Rds, Joliet to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Entombment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
