Obituary of John Spooner

John G. Spooner Age 55, at rest Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Silver Cross Hospital. Survived by his son, Austin Tripp; brothers, Robert (Angie) and Teddy Spooner; stepmother, Rosemary Spooner; fiance and soulmate, April Perry; a father figure to Amber Tripp, Autumn Tripp, Paul Reynolds, Allie Perry and Emma Perry; uncle of two nephews and one niece, Nick, Chris and Kate. Preceded in death by his parents, Gordon Spooner and Lucy (nee DeSanto) Spooner. Visitation for John G. Spooner will be Sunday, July 26, 2015 from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Cremation rites will follow the visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family to establish an education fund for his son, Austin.
