Obituary of Cathleen Davis

Cathleen J. Davis (nee Oberlin) Age 63. At rest Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Bolingbrook Adventist Hospital. Born June 8, 1952 in Joliet, IL to Robert and June (nee Gardner) Oberlin. Chaney-Monge Public School Principal from 1993 until she retired in 2009. Prior to becoming Principal, she was a teacher at the school from 1976-1993. Survived by her sons, Dave DeWar, Ryan (Tera) Davis, Jason Jordan and Jameson Jordan; grandchildren, James Jordan and Jace Jordan; siblings, Robert (Janet) Oberlin and Laura (Michael) Nowak; and aunt of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Lisa Oberlin. Funeral Services for Cathleen J. Davis will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet, IL. Cremation Rites will follow the service. Visitation Wednesday, 3-8 p.m. at the funeral home. For information: (815) 741-5500.
