Obituary of Edward Clark JR
Clark, Edward L. Jr.
Age 68 of Joliet, passed away at home with his family by his side on April 18, 2012 after a courageous battle with brain cancer. Born on October 20, 1943 to Edward LaVerne and Gertrude (Drauden) Clark. He was a 1961 graduate of Plainfield High School. Ed achieved his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Vandercook College of Music.
Preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Geraldine McDaniel.
Ed was the beloved husband of 48 years to Elizabeth "Bette" (Jaakkola). Also survived by his children, Lyyti (Mark) Dudczyk, Sara (Jason) Wilebski, Edward (Tina) Clark III and Earl (Jana) Clark; eleven grandchildren, Patrick, Meghan and Madeline Dudczyk, Kelli, Abby and Tessa Wilebski, Lindsey Clark, Makenna, Britton, Benjamin and Leah Clark; brother, William (Mary) Clark; numerous relatives and friends survive.
A special thanks to Provena Home Hospice, entire staff at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center, JOHA and University of Illinois Nova-Cure study. Heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Bhavesh Gandhi and staff over the past three years. In addition to his dedicated friends, Ken and Ag Scott, Barb Hanson and Jim Webb. For the many masses, prayers and sympathy expressed to the family, God's Peace and Blessings.
Ed was a gifted musician, avid outdoors man and lifelong educator. As it was his wish, Ed donated his body to science for further medical study.
A Memorial Service celebrating Ed's life was held on April 20th, 2012, at St. Patrick's Church with the Reverend Pete Jankowski and Most Reverend Vytas Memenas officiating. His struggle of his life is over; new life is just beginning. Arrangements by:
