Eileen M. Clark
(nee Fuller)
Age 71, of Channahon, passed away peacefully, Thursday, October 30, 2008 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Born November 10, 1936 in Highland Park, IL. to the late Leslie and Florence Fuller, she had resided in Channahon the past 32 years.
She was the beloved wife of Curt, whom she married September 8, 1962; loving mother of Alan (Susan) Clark of Joliet, and Sheila (Forest) Adams of Braceville, IL; proud and devoted grandmother of Lindsay Andrews, Scott Andrews; and Paul Clark; dear sister of Kenneth (Marilyn) Fuller of Antioch, IL; several nieces, nephews and her cousin also survive.
Preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Arthur (Ruth) Fuller, and one sister, Nancy (late Bob) Nelson.
She was employed by the Village of Channahon as clerk, and was nominated as Citizen of the Year by the Village in 2008. She was also the Secretary of Crime Stoppers in Will County and past President of the former Business and Professional Women's Association. An active member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Eileen was a choir member and past President of the CCW. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, embroidering and making dolls, but what gave her great joy was spending time with her family.
Funeral Services for Eileen M. Clark will be Monday, November 3, 2008 at 9 :00 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to St. Ann Catholic Church, Channahon for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to the American Cancer Society or Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated. Visitation Sunday 2-6 p.m. at:
