Obituary of Leo Ardaugh

LEO M. ARDAUGH Age 77, at rest Friday, August 7, 2015 at Presence St. Joseph Hospital. Born in Joliet to the late Maurice and Alice (Berens) Ardaugh and a lifelong area resident. Graduate of Joliet Catholic High School, Class of 1956. A U.S. Army Veteran. Retired from ComEd in 2000 following 40 years of service. 4th Degree member of Knights of Columbus Holy Trinity Council #4400, member of St. Vincent DePaul Peace and Justice Committee. Survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Bonnie (Webber) Ardaugh of Crest Hill; four children, Philip (Alice) Ardaugh of Joliet, Thomas (Ann) Ardaugh of Lockport, Joseph (Jennifer) Ardaugh of Crest Hill, and Carolyn (Nicholas) Fagan of Joliet; seven grandchildren, Abigail, Andrew, Matthew, Erin, and Megan Ardaugh, Joseph, Madelyn, Aiden and Abigail Fagan, Matthew and Brandon Chaparro; his siblings, Leonard (Sandra) Ardaugh, Carol (Thomas) McCafferty, Eleanor Picard, John (Donna) Ardaugh, Kathy (Russ) Thontlin, Jim (Julie) Ardaugh, Rita Ardaugh, Bernadette Ardaugh, Don (Valerie) Ardaugh, Theresa (A.J.) Christofaro, Suzanne (Phil) Spring; Sister-in-law, Connie Webber and brother-in-law Alvin Horn; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded by his infant son, Leo; his parents, one sister, Marialice Horn and one brother, Dennis Ardaugh. Funeral Services for Leo M. Ardaugh will be Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at 9:15 a.m. from Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery . In memory of Leo M.
