Obituary of Edward Walsh

Edward C. Walsh "Buddy" Age 57. Peacefully Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center as the result of complications arising from congestive heart failure with his family by his side. Born in Melrose Park and a Plainfield and Shorewood area resident for the past 25 years. Survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Janice L. (nee Zerial) Walsh and son, Kenny Walsh of Shorewood; also survived by three brothers, Robert (Kym) McGee of Atlanta, GA, John Walsh and Danny (Jamie) Tracy, all of Belvedere, IL; one sister, Tiera Tracy of Harvard, IL; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Buddy especially enjoyed watching his son's baseball games. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, working on cars and teaching his son about auto repair and diagnosis. A big fan of NASCAR and golf. Funeral Services for Edward C. "Buddy" Walsh will be held Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. As it was Edward's request, Cremation Rites have been accorded. In lieu of flowers, memorials to his son's education made out to his family would be appreciated.
