Obituary of Mary Grepares

Mary C. Grepares Age 78, at rest Friday, August 21, 2015 at Hope Creek Nursing Home in East Moline, IL. Born in Joliet to the late Andrew and Florence (nee Volgar) Grepares. Residing in Rock Island the past 40+ years. Retired from the Rock Island Arsenal, formerly employed by the Joliet Arsenal. Life member of All Saints Greek Orthodox Church. Former member of the Daughters of Penelope. Survived by her son, Andrew (Barbara) Grepares of East Moline, IL; one brother, Theodore (Patti) Grepares of Houston, TX: two sisters, Frances Madonis of Clearwater, FL and Andrea (Demetrios) Meintanis of New Lenox; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by her parents; one brother, John Grepares and one sister, Isabelle Miller. Funeral services for Mary C. Grepares will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at 10:30 am at All Saints Greek Orthodox Church. Family will receive all friends and relatives from 9:00 am until time of service.
