To the Carder Family: I am truly sorry to read of the passing of your loved one. I didnt know her personally but its clear from the comments she was a joy to be around and will be greatly missed. When tragedy and hardship befall my family i often find comfort in the scriptures. Isaiah 25:8 speaks of the time when death will be gone forever. Revelation 21:4 speaks of pain and tears being a thing of the past. Times like these make it difficult to trust in such promises but they will come true for us. Beg God for endurance until that time comes. My prayers are with you.

I send my deepest sympathy on the passing of such a vibrant person. Working with Mike for so many years at the hospital, I saw the funny jokes she sent to him and the loving interaction between them. They had a beautiful marriage and I hope the wonderful memories embrace you, Micheal, and bring you comfort.

Nancy was a kind person with a big heart and great memory. She was one of my favorite instructors for paramedic CE classes and I always enjoyed her lectures. She remembered everyone's name, provided encouragement when needed, and always had a positive attitude. Please accept my deepest sympathies on her passing. She was one of a kind.

I scarcely can find words to adequately express how saddened I was to hear of Nancy's passing. She was truly a wonderful, passionate person and professional who touched so many lives. I can still see you both volunteering to help me on so many occasions when no one else would. Whether it was military training, counting widgets or unloading Army trucks in the rain, I never had to ask for help...you both always volunteered. She helped and trained so many soldiers..whether it was CPR or teaching suturing, or mentoring, or just being our "Colonel Mom", she was always willing to help. I am a better human being for having known her, and you. My deepest sympathies, thanks and prayers to you sir. God has called an angel home. God and Country!!

Mike, on behalf of the Glencoe Department of Public Safety we share your loss. They don't make them like Nancy anymore. Her infectious laughter and cheerful nature has always brought joy to every life she touched. That was her gift and what brought her to nursing. We know you miss her terribly, and we miss her too. We will continue to honor her memory and have you in our hearts. Please remember us if you ever need anything. You are not alone. We are with you. RB
