Obituary of Arthur Mutchler

Arthur F. Mutchler, III "Skip" Age 51. Peacefully passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice home with his family by his side following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Joliet and a lifelong Shorewood area resident. Survived by his loving and devoted wife, Jeri (nee Pasteris) Mutchler of Shorewood; two sons, Matthew J. Mutchler of California and Daniel J. (Toni) Bené of Shorewood; one grandson, Dominic J. Bené; his father, James W. Sheppard of Joliet; mother and father-in-law, Virginia and Gerald Pasteris of Joliet; one sister, Rosemarie "Terry" (Myke) Mutchler of Florida; four brothers, Terry (Hope) Tait of Yorkville, Marc (Carol) Pasteris of Peoria, Mike (Bobbie Koziol) Pasteris of Joliet and David (Colleen) Pasteris of Elgin, IL; uncle Tommy Hess of Joliet; numerous stepsisters, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Preceded by his loving parents, Janet (nee Hess) Sheppard and Arthur F. Mutchler, II. Funeral Services for Arthur F. Mutchler, III will be held Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Pastor Terry McLaughlin officiating.
