Obituary of Paul Costion

Paul Costion Age 55 of Joliet, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends. Born December 10, 1959 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of the late John Francis and Stella Ann (nee Rusonis) Costion. A graduate of Brockway Area High School, Class of 1977, and attended Joliet Junior College. He worked for ExxonMobil for over 20 years most recently as a rotating equipment engineer. Paul was an avid hunter who enjoyed salmon fishing, puttering in his man cave, raising bees and eating blueberry pancakes. He was always going from sunrise to sunset and enjoyed helping people with electric or mechanical projects. He was a member of the NRA, Bee Club, Moose Lodge, Knights of Columbus and St. Bernard Catholic Church. Surviving are his beloved wife, Patricia (nee Brady) Costion; three sons, Jon (Mayra), Ryan and Marc Costion; siblings, Michael (Gerda), Kathleen (late David) Bearbower, Jo Ann (late Michael) Marchiori, Mary Ann (late Charles) Nicometo and his twin, Pamela Moore; two stepsons, Michael and Kyle Easter; a special family friend, Rachel Kaniewski; one niece, Hope (Steve) Klukovich; three nephews, John (Roberta) Costion, Dan (Alisa) Costion and Alan (Marian) Marchiori; and several great-nieces and great-nephews also survive. Funeral Services for Paul Costion will be held Friday, September 25, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. from Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet to St. Bernard Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Paul's final resting place will be in DuBois, PA at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name to Joliet Area Community Hospice or the Special Olympics would be appreciated. Visitation Thursday, 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
