Wilma I. Kuster
(nee Postma)
Age 95, previously of Good Samaritan of Pontiac, IL and the Timbers of Shorewood, IL, passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at O.S.F. St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington, IL.
She was born August 24, 1920 to the late Tenie (nee Earl) and Charles Postma of Deep River, Jasper County, Iowa. Wilma was raised in the Deep River area and resided most of her adult life in the Joliet and Shorewood communities.
Beloved mother of Hedy (Stan) Kosiba of Ft. Myers, FL, Kurt Kuster of Shorewood, IL and Mark (Nancy) Kuster of Pontiac, IL; loving grandmother of Craig (Lori) Kosiba of Joliet, IL, Cheryl (Adam) Jones of Arlington, Texas; twin grandsons, Kip and Zackery Kuster, both of Pontiac, IL; proud great-grandmother of Kyle, Michael and Amanda Kosiba of Joliet, IL; dearest great-great-grandmother of Kylie Kosiba of Joliet, IL. Several generations of nieces and nephews also survive.
Preceded in death by her first husband, George Larson (in action during WWII); second husband, Max Kuster (Ret. Dept. Chairman of Agriculture at Joliet Junior College, 1947-1977); her parents; and one brother, Floyd (late Gerri) Postma of Grinnell, Iowa.
Funeral Services for Wilma I. Kuster will be Saturday September 26, 2015 at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet, IL. where visitation will occur from 9:00 a.m. until services begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment Saturday 1:30 p.m. at Floral Hill Cemetery, Neponset, IL.
