Obituary of Juan Vivas

Juan Vivas Age 59, at rest Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Mexico, he was the son of Dionicio and Maria Elena (nee Chavez) Vivas. Survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Donna Sue (nee Wade) Vivas; three children, Robert (Lynette) Kirkpatrick, Sheri Kirkpatrick and Juan M. Vivas; four grandchildren, Heriberto, Jessica, Nancy and Rey Vivas; two great-grandchildren, Harlow and Sky; siblings, Lionicio, Abel, Mariaelena, Salvador, Daniel, Maria, Francisco, Ofelia and Aurora; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents; and several brothers and sisters. Juan was a true believer in Our Lady of Guadalupe and #1 fan of the Mexican soccer team, Chivas. Funeral services for Juan Vivas will be held Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Cremation Rites will be accorded following the services. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated. Visitation Tuesday, 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
