Obituary of Hanna Adams

Hanna Gabriele Bergmann Adams Age 78, of Joliet, IL the past 25 years and formerly of Lemont, IL, passed away peacefully, with her family at her side, Sunday evening October 18, 2015 at Rosewood Care Center in Joliet. Hanna was born January 6, 1937 in Germany. She emigrated to the United States in 1959, residing in Texas, North Carolina and Florida prior to moving to Illinois. In her earlier years, she worked as a machinist serving several companies, including Molex and ODM and also as a cigar maker at JNO H Swisher Son. Surviving are her daughter, Heidi Adams and two grandsons, Nicholas Pacilli and Blake Adams. She was preceded in death by her parents, Erna Elizabeth (nee Schutz) and Hans Bergmann as well as her daughter, Kristine Marie (nee Adams) Peksa. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, slow dancing, music of "the Rat Pack", watching CSI and in her later years, Bingo.
