Obituary of Paul Cain

Paul D. Cain Age 51. Peacefully Friday, October 23, 2015 at Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital with his family by his side. Born in Joliet and a lifelong Joliet area resident. Paul attended Plainfield schools. Paul's favorite hobbies included reading, antique shopping and he was an Abraham Lincoln historian and collector of memorabilia. Preceded by his parents, Edward and Glenda Jane (nee Smith) Cain. Survived by five siblings, Nancy (Ed) Gregory of Mt. Vernon, IL, Gail (Mark) Stevens of Joliet, Don (Julie) Cain of Joliet, Glenn (Kim) Cain of Bourbonnais and Lisa (James) Byrne of North Aurora, IL; loving uncle of Bryan (fiancee, Carrie Moss) Bubulka, Brad Bubulka, Andrew Stevens, Katelyn Cain, Benjamin Cain, Patrick Byrne, David (Sarah) Byrne and Matthew Byrne; beloved great-uncle of Austin Byrne; and numerous aunts and cousins also survive. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at Lakewood Nursing Home for the professional and compassionate care they provided to our brother. Funeral Services for Paul D. Cain will be held Monday, October 26, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Reverend Odis Weaver officiating. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name to the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery Support Community, c/o Abraham Lincoln Bronze Statue Fund, P.O.
