Angeleke T. Paros

Age 92, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at home, surrounded by her loving family.
Born May 10, 1923 in Thana, Greece, she was the daughter of the late Chris and Sophia Kleros. She married Theodore P. Paros, and he preceded her in death on September 10, 1986. Her parents, three brothers and two sisters also preceded her.
Her family operated the former Oriental Cleaners and Dyers, now Ajax Cleaners, where she worked in the office and provided customer service from 1957 to 1982.
She was a devoted member of All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, the Three Heirarchs of Philotochos Society and the Thaniotico Society.
Angeleke was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be remembered for her gentleness and kindness.
Surviving are her loving and devoted children, Stauroula "Stella" (Victor) Hanson of Shorewood and Peter (Nina) Paros of Shorewood; three grandchildren, Milton Hanson, Theodore (Stacy) Paros, and Angela Paros (Sam) Giannakopoulos; six great-grandchildren, Natalia, Melina and Valentina Paros and Eleni, Nikolas Peter and Georgia Grace Giannakopoulos; one sister, Dimitria; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Angeleke T. Paros will be held Wednesday, November 11, 2015
at 8:45 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet to All Saints Greek Orthodox Church for Services at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to All Saints Greek Orthodox Church Endowment Fund or the Three Hierarchs of Philotochos Society would be appreciated. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home where Trisagion Services will be conducted at 6:30 p.m.
