Obituary of Theodore Zientek

Theodore J. "Ted" Zientek Age 72, of Shorewood, passed away suddenly Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee, IL. Born July 26, 1943 in Chicago, IL to Theodore F. and Rose (nee Ludwik) Zientek. Ted enjoyed fishing, yard work and cutting his grass. He was an avid White Sox fan. Employed with Sears as a retail manager with 27 years of service and Harrah's Casino as a table game supervisor with 20 years of service. He also volunteered at the Manteno Veterans' Home. Survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Diane J. (nee Alberts); three children; Todd, David (Mia) Zientek and Amy (Jon) Ryan; two grandchildren, Madigan Zientek and David Zientek. Memorial Services for Ted J. Zientek will be held Monday, November 23, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Fr. Richard Ross officiating. Cremation Rites have been accorded. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name to American Diabetes Association, P.O.
