Obituary of Phyllis Stacey-Collins

Phyllis Mae Stacey-Collins (nee Steele) Age 78, of Joliet, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2009 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center. Born May 19, 1931 in Hannibal, MO, she had resided in Joliet most of her life. Graduate of Joliet Township High School Class of 1949. Retired from Kerr Glass after 25 years of dedicated service. She was an animal lover, and an accomplished pianist. Survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Tom Collins; beloved mother of Robin DeMarco, John (Jo Ann) Stacey, and Clair (John) DonnaMaria; proud grandmother of John Hernandez; proud great-grandmother of Tyler Hernandez; she will also be missed by Taurus the bulldog. Preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Thelma Fesler. Funeral Services for Phyllis Mae Stacey-Collins will be Thursday, December 3, 2009 at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home chapel.
