Obituary of John Alexander

John G. Alexander Age 55. At rest Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Edward Hospital. Born in Joliet, residing in Romeoville the past 30 years. Formerly employed by the U.S. Postal Service as a mechanic. A licensed professional pyrotechnician. Survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Pamela (Gunderson) Alexander of Romeoville; three sons, Joshua (Dawn), Brandon (Tamara) and Sean (Angela) Alexander; devoted grandfather of Haley, Jacob, Ryan, Nathan, Madeline, Trevor, Samantha, Carter, Aiden, Payton and Raegan Alexander; one sister, Patricia (late Donald) Kelly; five brothers, Robert (Jacqulyn), Jack (Stephanie), Donald (late Delores), William (Lois) and Charles (Pamela) Alexander; numerous nieces and nephews . Preceded by his parents, Robert and Harriet (Beebe) Alexander; three sisters, Eunice (Dwayne) Loomis, Barbara (Arthur) Meyer and Thelma Grzincic. Funeral Services for John G. Alexander will be held Monday, December 7, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Private family interment.
