Obituary of Marion Idler
Marion E. Idler
(nee Sigloch)
Age 80, of Romeoville, IL and formerly of Naples, FL and Frankfort, IL passed away Sunday, December 27, 2015 at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center, Joliet, IL. Born August 30, in Amityville, NY, she was the daughter of Conrad and Meta (nee Hartje) Sigloch.
Marion was a homemaker and also worked as a school secretary for many years. While in Naples, she was a member of Shepherd of the Glades Lutheran Church. She loved spending time with her family, following the Chicago Cubs, and being a Grandmother. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit.
Survived by her two children, Linda (Greg) Hidlebaugh of Joliet and Ken (Randy Sue) Idler of Trevor, WI; five grandchildren, Chris (Shauna) Hidlebaugh, Amy Bailey, Steve Hidlebaugh, Eric Idler and Erin Idler; two great-grandchildren, Lillian and Brayden; one sister, Kathryn (the late Frederick) Reise of Wantaugh, NY; a sister-in-law, Carol Sigloch; and a brother-in-law, Chris (late Joan) Idler.
Preceded by her beloved husband of 54 years, Herman Idler (2010), her parents; and one brother, Conrad Sigloch.
The family would like to thank the staff of Senior Star, the medical and nursing staff at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center, Dr. Bahvesh Ghandi and Presence Hospice for their care and support.
Graveside services for Marion Idler will be held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery at a later date. Memorials in her name to National Parkinson Foundation would be appreciated.
