Bill Daily posted a condolence

I had the pleasure of working for Bill for many years at Bill Jacobs Chevrolet. What an excellent man he was. I got to see him everyday and a lot of evenings working late hours for many years. During those years, I probably spent more time around Bill than my own family. Such was the car business. Working together, you get to really see someone's true character. Bill was one of the most upstanding men I have ever been around. Oh, how he loved his family! He worked long hours and was very prudent with his money in order to provide for them. We would often kid him about his little change purse, but I always admired how he scrimped and saved in order to take beautiful vacations with his family. He had his priorities straight. As someone who worked for him, I can say that he always thought the best of you and made you better. I will miss him and always think well of him.

In Proverbs 17:6 “There are many ways to measure success: not the least of which is the way your child describes you.” Dad leaves nothing but wonderful memories of championships throughout his life. He led by example and has raised the bar for all of us to live by. We will certainly miss him!
