Thomas M. Feehan
"Tommy"
Age 57. Friday, January 15, 2016 after retiring to sleep the night before, Tommy awoke in the presence of the Lord following complications arising from a pulmonary condition.
Born in Joliet and a lifelong Joliet area resident. Attended Northern Illinois University and a graduate of Joliet Catholic High School, Class of 1976.
Preceded by his father, the Honorable Thomas L. Feehan (2000).
Survived by his wife, Linda (nee Daniels) Feehan of Joliet; his mother, Beverly (nee Long) Feehan of Joliet; two sisters, Colleen (Ron) Richardson of Chicago and Kathy (Craig) George of Andover, MA; two brothers, Brian Feehan of Connecticut and Kevin (Gina) Feehan of Naperville; three nieces, Kelly George, Caitlin George, and Molly Feehan; seven nephews, Patrick Grizzard, Michael (Cory) Grizzard, Kevin Grizzard, Brian George, Christopher George, Brendan Feehan, and Conor Feehan; and one stepson, Michael Kovacevich. Uncle Bob (the late Marilyn) Long and Uncle Joe (Marilyn) Feehan also survives.
Funeral services for Tommy Feehan will be Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 9:15 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet, to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name to Joliet Catholic Academy or St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church would be appreciated. Visitation Wednesday, 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
