Obituary of Mary Jordan-Dundrea

Mary Donnette Jordan-Dundrea Mary Jordan-Dundrea (nee Butzback), age 82, passed away peacefully January 16, 2016 at her home in Duroc Bay, Missouri. Born August 28, 1933 in Jacksonville, IL to Jess and Edna (nee Roper) Butzback. Surviving are her husband, Francis W. Dundrea, Jr.; children, Melissa (David) Bush, Kathryn (Doug) McFarland, Mary Dawn (Scott) Bellamy, Kenneth (Vicki) Jordan, and Sean (Paula) Jordan; all of which were her favorite. Also surviving are grandchildren, Brian (Erin), Ethan and Mary Bush; Caitlyn (Will) Hair, Kristin (Jacob) Buffington, Lindsay (Nick) Schenk, and Jordan McFarland; Jess, Maggie, Alex, and Olivia Hogan; Kenneth and Matthew Jordan; and Madison and Allison Jordan. Also surviving is her brother, Charles (Karen) Butzback of Ohio; as well as numerous great grandchildren, stepchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her husband, Kenneth O. Jordan, in 1992; her parents, Jess and Edna Butzback; and her cousin, Sharon (Donald) Broughton. Mary graduated with honors from the University of Illinois in 1954. She received her degree in secretarial training. She retired from GAF Corporation after over thirty years of employment. She was a member of Warsaw Christian Church. She had also been a member of Busy Bees and a first responder with the Deer Creek Fire Protection District. She enjoyed reading, her family, and especially 4th of July holidays with her entire family at the lake. Funeral services for Mary Donnette Jordan-Dundrea will be held Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads in Joliet, Illinois. Rev. Scott Zorn will officiate. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation Friday, 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. For information (815) 741-5500.
