Obituary of Elizabeth Cinkovich

Elizabeth C. Cinkovich (nee Brozovich) Age 97. Passed away Thursday, January 28, 2016 at HarborChase Assisted Living in Plainfield. Born October 8, 1918 in Centerville, IA to Stanley and Ella (nee Tomich) Brozovich. Member of JoAnnites and the Croation Cultural Club, participated in Annointing of the Sick Masses, parish picnics, bake sales and medical missions. Nominated Woman of the Year in 1988 at St. Mary Nativity Church. Survived by her two daughters, Mary Lou Duren and Ella (William III) Whalen; daughter-in-law, Jean Cinkovich; grandchildren, George (DeAnn) Cinkovich, Christine Galick, Christopher (Jessica) Duren, Michael (Jennifer) Duren, Gena (Rich) Voights, William IV Whalen (fiancee, Jennifer Rush) and Leah Whalen; great-grandchildren, Paige, Robert and Grace Galick, Evan and Taylor Cinkovich, Austin, James, Ryen, Madelyn, Jack, Jakob Duren, Alyssa Whalen, Isabella and Brigham Borseth; and many nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fabian A. (1982); son, George F. (2003); son-in-law, Paul W. Duren (2015); two brothers; and five sisters. Dames Funeral Home. Funeral Services for Elizabeth C. Cinkovich will be held Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet.
