Obituary of Robert Barto

Robert George Barto Age 80. Passed away Sunday, January 31, 2016 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, IL. Born March 24, 1935 in Joliet to Lawrence and Lucille (nee Rippinger) Barto. A member of South Wilmington Sportsman Club who loved camping, fishing and woodworking. Truly a family man who enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He had a wonderful personality with a big heart and loved everyone. Survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Helen L. (nee Weese); three children, Patricia Seida, Cynthia (Eugene) Martin and George Barto; four grandchildren, Lisa (Tim) Singer, Aaron Martin USAF, Heather (Curtis) Cwudzinski and Kyle Martin; three great-grandchildren, Ryan Kennedy, Emma Singer and Carson Cwudzinski; brother, William (Joan) Barto; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive. Preceded in death by his parents; son, Robert Lawrence; and son-in-law, Joe Seida. Visitation for Robert G. Barto will be held Wednesday, February 3, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until 12 Noon at Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. No funeral services. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. For more information: (815) 741-5500.
