Obituary of Joseph Petroski

Joseph G. Petroski, III Age 26. Suddenly Monday, February 1, 2016 at his home in Shorewood following complications arising from an undiagnosed enlarged heart. Born in Chicago, a longtime South Carolina resident before moving to Shorewood nine years ago. He was a hard working laborer for many local companies in the area. Preceded by his mother, Tracy Ann Liss; and his maternal grandfather, Mickey Liss. Survived by his loving daughter, Saliyah Teresa Petroski of Shorewood; his father, Joseph G. (fiancee, Connie Cash) Petroski, Jr. of Shorewood; his girlfriend, Alejandra Riquelme of Chicago, IL; his maternal grandmother, Nancy Liss; his paternal grandparents, Joseph G. and Maria (nee Rodriguez) Petroski, Sr. of Chicago; one sister, Paige Marie Petroski; and one niece, Madeline Petroski, both of Joliet His god mother Robin (Jerry) Hickey of Downers Grove also survives. A Memorial Service for Joseph G. Petroski III will be held Saturday February 6, 2016 at 7 p.m. family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until time of services at the Joliet Elks Lodge #296, 250 SE Frontage Road, Joliet, IL 60431. Cremation Rites have been accorded. In lieu of flowers, memorials to his surviving family for the benefit of his daughter's education would be appreciated.
