Aunt Evelyn was more than just an "Aunt" to me. She was always a special part of my whole family and always ready to be friend and spiritual mentor to me. If ever I couldn't talk about an issue with my folks, I could always talk to Aunt Evelyn. She was wise, and always had a positive outlook on life. I lived with her and Grandma Harris for three years before moving to Arkansas. During that short period we were more like sisters. We did so much together that I will forever have her in my heart. Distance could not separate our closeness. We had a phone date every Sunday afternoon and I am already missing our conversations. We could both laugh or cry together at the drop of a hat. I now look forward to the day I get to see the mansion She now lives in!
