Obituary of Forrest Liles

FORREST EUGENE LILES, JR. Age, 71, at rest Sunday, February 14, 2016 at Joliet Area Community Hospice. Born April 9, 1944 in San Diego, CA. SSG Air Force Veteran of Viet Nam proudly serving 1962-1970. Member of the Wild Weasels. Retired from Exxon Mobil with over 25 years of service. He was a collector of classic cars, enjoyed boating and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was a great guy and will be truly missed by his wife, daughters and grandchildren. Survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Barbara A. (nee Wilda); two daughters, Cayla Liles-Hartman (Brian Hartman) and Corri (Harry) Grady; five grandchildren, Amanda, Wyatt, Alexis, Amy and Cody; one sister, Crystal Liles-Geering (Kelvin Geering); and other relatives in Kansas. Memorial gathering will be held on Friday, February 19, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet, IL Inurnment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery with full military honors under the auspices of the United States Air Force. As it was his wish, cremation rites have been accorded. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name to the Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
