Obituary of Leonard Conrad

Conrad, Leonard "Bud" Age 93, of Joliet and formerly Chicago, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2012. Beloved husband of 68 years to Wanda (Gawlik); loving father of Sharon (Samuel) Slocum of Plainfield and Jerome (Rita) Conrad of Chicago. Dear grandfather of Donna (David) Spalla, Michael (Michelle) Slocum; Lisa, Jennifer and Rachel Conrad. Proud great -grandpa of 15. One brother Robert (Annamae) Conrad of Orland Park and several nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Elizabeth Conrad, one brother Arthur Conrad and one sister Dorothy Rosenberg . Bud was a radar technician in the US Army Air Corp during WWII. Funeral services Wednesday, May 2, 2012, 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
