Obituary of Richard Wallace

Richard C. Wallace Age 52. Suddenly Saturday, February 20, 2016, while doing something that he loved, he succumbed to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Born in Elmhurst and a lifelong Crest Hill, Joliet and Morris resident for the past eight years. Richard loved his children, grandson, family and friends, and they brought him boundless joy and happiness. He also loved the feel and freedom of the open road and could be found riding his Harley Davidson for miles on end. On behalf of your family Dad, Ramble On and Ride In Paradise. Survived by his loving daughter, Colleen (nee Wallace) (Robert) Kaperski of Carthage, MO; one loving son, Nick Wallace; his beloved grandson, Dominick Wallace, both of Ottawa; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many devoted friends also survive. Preceded by his parents; and brother, Joey Wallace. Funeral Services for Richard C. Wallace will be held Friday, February 26, 2016 where a service of remembrance will take place at 7:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Cremation Rites will be accorded following his funeral services. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name to the Wallace Family in c/o the Fred C.
